Full Title: Global Warming and the Pacific Northwest: Sockeye Salmon Run Dry
Full view please.
This is the second in a series focusing on the present and future effects of global warming in the Pacific Northwest. Each "present" piece will have a sister illustration, showing how the environment will have changed in the future as global warming progresses. This is the conclusion to: [link]
Pictured here is the surreal demise of Pacific Northwest salmon as a result of human carelessness and pollution. Though whats pictured here is surrealism, sockeye salmon, as well as many other species of fish, face decreasing numbers, in real life. Drought and rising water temperatures will become a real threat if human factors that contribute to global warming continue to progress.
I hope that the future shown here will never come to pass. It is my goal to help inspire change in you; to help stop the destruction of the nature we take for granted, not only in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, but around the world.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
